Bubsy 4D v1.1.1 (upd.06.06.2026) - RUNE

Bubsy 4D is an adventure platformer developed by Fabraz, in which the famously witty lynx ventures into space in search of adventure. The story begins with robotic sheep called BaaBots, created using Woolie technology, returning to steal Bubsy's precious Golden Fleece after overthrowing their alien captors. Players navigate vast alien worlds, themed around crafts, using an expanded moveset that includes wall climbing, gliding, jumping, and a new "hairball" form for high-speed gliding through environments. The game features boss battles against BaaBots at the end of each world, collecting yarn to unlock stylish outfits, and hidden blueprints reward exploration with new moves and upgrades.

Speedrunning is integrated into the core gameplay through time trials and online leaderboards where you can compete against the illusory times of other players. The platforming mechanics are designed to appeal to both newcomers and experienced players seeking to master advanced techniques. Throughout your journey, you'll encounter familiar characters like Terry, Terry, Virgil, and Oblivia. The game's space adventure is accompanied by a rousing soundtrack by Fat Bard, blending jazz, big band, and electro swing. Combining classic platforming with modern speedrunning features, Bubsy 4D attempts to revive the franchise with fresh gameplay ideas while maintaining the series' signature humor.
