Last Pirates: Die Together, a comedy horror game about sea robbers, centers the gameplay around exploring cursed islands to lift an ancient evil eye. The art style combines cartoonish characters with eerie, mystical settings. A team of survivors explore abandoned castles and ships, opening chests in search of treasure. The characters' visual comedy offsets the constant psychological tension arising from the danger lurking in the darkness.

The main mechanic is the unpredictable physics of super-elastic arms, allowing you to cling to objects, swing across chasms, and pull your companions out of trouble. In Last Pirates: Die Together, a well placed role playing gameplay guarantees a successful rescue: while one adventurer fills his pockets with gold, the other must track the movements of monsters. Distractions from searching caches often lead to sudden frights when confronted by mystical creatures.

Co-op mode is designed for up to four players, where chaos and awkward mistakes turn every foray into a series of absurd situations. Solo play offers a higher level of difficulty due to the lack of teamwork. Teamwork becomes the only way to escape these dark locations before supernatural creatures overtake the squad.
