An Amazing Wizard v0.5.189 (upd.29.05.2025)

An Amazing Wizard is a RogueVania, a roguelite metroidvania hybrid developed by Tiny Goblins. You play as a prophesied child wizard who, despite being born in the Wizard Village, cannot perform magic on your own — instead, the mysterious Magic Hands cast spells on your behalf as you attempt to reclaim your stolen memories and discover the truth about your power. The game features a procedurally generated world with five non-linear levels that become increasingly warped by Chaos. After each death, you’ll be reborn in one of four magical, nature-inspired worlds with no checkpoints. Combat revolves around seven unique elements that you can mix with over 120 spells, 200+ enchantments, and 200+ artifacts to create countless combinations whether you prefer summoning creatures, fighting in melee, or throwing boomerang fireballs.

Each biome has its own enemies and elite creatures that lead to challenging bosses, with the dimension itself upgrading, with enemies getting stronger and learning new tricks after each iteration. The roguelike structure means permanent death, where you lose run-specific items, but over 200 permanent upgrades allow you to improve your starting gear, stats, and unlock new elements. You’ll level up by gaining experience, explore hidden rooms, complete 50+ challenges, and discover secrets by progressing through multiple difficulty levels that unlock after defeating the final boss, providing 50-80+ hours of play with multiple save slots.
