Prophecy of Ashen is a role-playing adventure set in a medieval fantasy setting, where the narrative revolves around irreconcilable social conflict. The game takes place in a kingdom engulfed in flames and covered in ash, against the backdrop of a cataclysm looming across the continent. Religious strife and power struggles have led to a profound schism in society, with the corrupt Church confronting the mysterious Kinderkins. The entire world order is based on the belief in the Three Sacred Flames. The central figure in this maelstrom of events is the Herald, whose decisions determine the future of the land. Every dilemma facing the protagonist will have far-reaching consequences for the entire plot.

At the start of the adventure, you can choose from six protagonists, each with a unique portrait and their own minimap representation. Prophecy of Ashen combat system features turn-based tactical encounters where victory requires the careful use of magic, weapons, and the landscape. Free character development allows for a unique playstyle through the selection of skills, spells, and equipment. Exploring the vast world is closely intertwined with uncovering the kingdom's past, and the hero's actions directly shape their future.
