Jackal is a brutal top-down action game set in the criminal underworld of 1970s Las Vegas. You control a drug-addled hitman whose primary objective is the complete extermination of mafia clans. The core of the gameplay revolves around daring raids on hotels and casinos to empty their vaults. The protagonist must fight their way through hordes of enemies in rooms whose structure is algorithmically generated with each new launch. The game's visuals are stylized to resemble film posters of the era, and the narrative is steeped in the spirit of psychedelic noir. Matthew Curtis voices the central character.

The process of eliminating opponents is highly improvisatory, allowing you to use not only firearms and melee weapons but also virtually any interior object to eliminate your targets. Success in combat depends directly on constant movement, as reloading significantly reduces the protagonist's mobility, making them an easy target. Battles in Jackal are filled with brutal finishing moves on defeated opponents, turning every room into an arena for bloody carnage. Each raid's uniqueness is achieved through a set of unique elements.
