The Artifactory is a simulator of forced industrial enthusiasm that turns the Goblin King's minions into tireless workers on an assembly line. The local monsters are clearly bored without the visits of brave adventurers. To attract new visitors, the villains are forced to restore abandoned factories themselves. Now they must personally supply their future victims with valuable equipment. Over the course of thirty-two campaign stages, gamers must assemble legendary blades and brew magical elixirs. In addition to useful equipment, chests also contain completely absurd items like socks and back scratchers.

The process of creating artifacts requires coordinated teamwork due to the regular breakdown of old equipment. Each location conceals deadly threats, from collapsing platforms and pools of boiling magma to wandering ghosts. Industrial premises are full of mystical anomalies. Playing The Artifactory in local co-op for four players guarantees total chaos. The unruly chicken mechanic is a particular cause for panic. As soon as you set the bird down, the feathered fugitive begins scurrying around the workshop.
