Tormented Souls 2 drags you back into a decaying mansion where the walls remember every scream. Developed by Dual Effect and published by PQube for release in 2025, this puzzle shooter horror action adventure game follows a new protagonist trapped in a nightmare that echoes the first game. You explore dark corridors, locked rooms, and a chapel soaked in blood. Your only weapons are a revolver, a shotgun, and a flashlight that flickers when danger is near. The latest version of the game introduces a new parry mechanic that lets you deflect enemy attacks with a well timed swing of your pipe.

Puzzle design is devious and rewarding. You examine clues, combine items, and solve riddles that would make a sadist proud. Shooter combat is tense. Ammo is scarce, and every bullet must count. Horror comes from the environment, the creaking floors, the distant child laugh, the statues that watch you. Action is frantic when you are cornered.
