Telling Lies - SKIDROW

Overview

To find answers to the questions that torment us, we search the database and, by entering the appropriate keywords, we get access to intimate records from the lives of these four heroes. Our task is to collect all this into a single whole and understand their connections. The gameplay in Telling Lies is dedicated to playing a video sequence showing scenes from the personal lives of the characters. As in Her Story, this is done by entering the appropriate keyword that is somehow related to the case or one of the characters. Thanks to this procedure, the plot in the game is non-linear, because it depends on us when we look at a fragment of a record containing valuable information.

Records are fragments that are usually recorded using a laptop or phone. All the while watching, we get the impression that the characters are talking directly to us, which creates the impression of getting to know them. Sooner or later, we will find access to fragments that are so private and not intended for the eyes of a stranger that the impression will be even deeper. Immersion in the game world is also connected with the game interface, showing the desktop of the laptop, from which we have access to various applications. Including, for example, the aforementioned entries, computer settings or basket and solitaire.
