Erica — is a game created by the British studio Flavourworks. The game tells the story of the title character, a woman who had a terrible childhood, and the events of the past that still amaze her. One day, an old family friend tells her that her memories can be the key to catching the killer. However, not everything is so simple, because soon the killer himself also speaks to her, trying to explain the situation. Erica is faced with a difficult task because she doesn’t know who she can trust. Erica is an adventure game that only focuses on telling a non-linear story. The game is limited to the necessary minimum and consists in performing simple actions, for example, wiping tears from the face of the protagonist, swiping your finger across the screen of the device, turning the pages of a book, or choosing one of the dialogue options.

Importantly, our actions and decisions affect the further course of the plot. So this is an interactive story in a style like the adventures created by Telltale Games. The game has no console generated graphics. Instead, we watch movie scenes with real actors on screen. The developers used a special technique, thanks to which there are practically no breaks during the game. This means that when correctly selected, the charging screen or the wrong scene is suddenly not displayed. The effects of our actions are natural and immediate, so when we play, we get the impression of watching a movie.
