Inspector Gadget MAD Time Party is an action-adventure game with multiplayer party elements. It was developed by the company Smart Fairy Tale and published by Microids. It is based on the popular 1990s animated series Inspector Gadget. The main character of the game Inspector Gadget MAD Time Party is the titular Inspector Gadget a cyborg detective with numerous gadgets built into his body. When Metro City is taken over by the evil Dr. Claw and his agents M.A.D., the hero travels back in time to save the city before it is threatened. Unfortunately, the time machine malfunctions, causing the inspector’s ancestors to end up in the present. Gadget has to fix the car, return his ancestors to the past and restore order in Metro City.

Players must navigate the city and complete quests while trying to find pieces of the time machine. The task is complicated by the fact that there are ancestors roaming the Metropolitan, with whom Gadget has to compete; however, he has access to various gadgets that he can use in different situations. The game features 16 mini-games inspired by Gadgets adventures and testing our dexterity and reflexes. Inspector Gadget MAD Time Party supports single-player and multiplayer for up to four people. Inspector Gadget MAD Time Party retains the colorful, cartoonish art style of the original television series. The soundtrack was written by Tanis Chalopin, the daughter of Jean Chalopin, the creator of Gadget.
