Comatose is a dark shooter with survival elements that takes you deep into the crumbling mind of a deeply traumatized heroine. Protagonist Laura finds herself trapped in an endless nightmare, the result of a severe emotional trauma. To escape this mental trap, return to the real world, and restore balance, she overcomes her own fears and confronts the creatures of her mind. The gameplay combines exploration of the depressing locations of a deserted city with solving puzzles. Progression through the story is inextricably linked to overcoming difficult memories that change the environment. Clearing the mind of oppressive nightmares occurs.

The Comatose project fearlessly tackles extremely complex and mature psychological themes, including domestic violence, childhood trauma, and the grief of irreparable loss.
