MISERY is a co-op rogue-lite survival game that drops you into the radioactive wasteland of the Zaslavl Exclusion Zone as a PMC guarding a research institute. When a nuclear war breaks out, you'll have just 60 seconds to grab supplies and retreat to your bunker, where the real tests of survival will begin. Every day, you and your team venture into procedurally generated locations - abandoned military bases, research stations, and ruined cities - in search of resources while facing deadly threats.

The Zone is full of dangers beyond radiation: hostile survivors willing to kill for supplies, mutated creatures with unique behavior, and mysterious anomalies that can either help or destroy you. Anomalous zones contain valuable artifacts with special properties, but to get to them, you need to survive the unpredictable phenomena that guard them. Your mental state is just as important as your physical state - too much stress can cause hallucinations and paranoia that can turn you against your teammates.

In between raids, you'll be expanding your underground bunker room by room, installing generators, building crafting stations, growing food, and decorating it with furniture salvaged from expeditions. The Institute's basement bar serves as a social hub where you can trade artifacts, socialize with other survivors, and unwind after dangerous forays. Success depends on how you manage hunger, thirst, radiation exposure, and sanity while coordinating with your team to survive the Zone's relentless hostility and return safely before nightfall.
