Survival mechanics track your squad’s hunger, thirst, and warmth, with each knight having unique needs based on their stone type. RPG elements let you level up individual knights, unlocking special abilities like rock throw or moss camouflage. Strategy comes from positioning your squad during battles against beetles, spiders, and rival pebble bands. Action combat is real time but pausable, letting you issue orders to flank or retreat. Casual difficulty offers infinite respawns and a slower day night cycle. You can also tame insects as mounts, ride a ladybug across a puddle or a grasshopper over a crevice.
