You start at a small cabin at the edge of a national park. Your only equipment is a fishing rod, a backpack, and a map that fills as you walk. The world is yours to explore, from mountain lakes and winding rivers to dense forests and hidden waterfalls. The latest version of the game introduces a dynamic fish behavior system where different species react to weather, time of day, and the type of bait you use.

Adventure is about discovery. You can follow deer trails, climb rocky outcrops for a better view, or simply sit on a dock and watch the sunset. Open world is filled with secrets, abandoned cabins with journals to read, rare flowers to photograph, and hidden fishing spots that only appear during certain seasons.
