This power allows her to inhabit other people's bodies and drain their life force through intimate physical contact - a secret that lies at the heart of her power and vulnerability.
The ruler's court is filled with characters with their own agendas. Agnes acts as Faemeliel's loyal protector, while the aging royal sorcerer Maedithir watches over the dark forces surrounding the throne. An internal threat in Kingdom of Velvet Chains comes from the queen's sister, Ilirana, who feels neglected and allies with a poet named Aymer to organize a rebellion. Into this tense situation comes Candella, a mysterious sorceress who offers Faemeliel assistance, though her true motives are hidden behind magical deception.
The player's decisions influence court politics, change relationships, and shape Amartha's future.
