Mortal Shell II is an action RPG developed by Cold Symmetry, a standalone sequel built on dynamic combat mechanics and free exploration. Set in a devastated, interconnected open world, the environments are deliberately compact and dense, saving the player time while encouraging thorough exploration. The main journey revolves around finding and mastering the forgotten "Shells" of eight fallen warriors scattered throughout the ruins.

By inhabiting these Shells, you unlock their unique innate abilities and gradually uncover the story of each warrior's past. Combat is fast, realistic, and has no stamina limit, allowing for relentless attacks against enemies. Battles demand tactical precision, challenging you to breach enemy defenses to deliver devastating critical hits.
